From the 6th to the 9th of April, Erasmus Generation gathered in Bucharest, Romania for the second time for its largest event - Erasmus Generation Meeting. The event brought together more than 900 participants from all over Europe in a conference on skills gained through international opportunities and civic engagement of young people.

Four of our volunteers had the chance to attend the programme that focused on key topics for the Erasmus+ programme, international education and youth policies. Those include topics such as inclusive mobility and volunteering, Erasmus+ grants, sustainable travel of Erasmus+ students, and digital transformation and internationalisation at home.

On the 9th of April the Award ceremony, which aims to provide recognition to the work that member organisations do in a span of a year, was held during the Erasmus Generation Meeting and we are very proud that our event “CAREoke” won the 2nd place in the Fundraising category.

The CAREoke event was a charity karaoke event in collaboration with the organisation “Istria Helps”. All donations from the night went to “Istria Helps” and their action called "United we are stronger - for Ukraine"! The main aim was to raise awareness about the ongoing Ukrainian crisis and to help the Ukrainian refugees in Zagreb feel welcomed and appreciated.

With that, the biggest student event of the Erasmus Student Network came to an end, and if you want to feel the atmosphere made by more than 1000 participants, including mobility alumni, representatives from partner organisations, EU institutions, National Agencies, universities and associations, watch the official aftermovie.
